FAQ & troubleshooting

Common questions and solutions.

General

Can I try SinfoniaOne without commitment?

Paid modules can start with a trial period if configured for your subscription. After that, the subscription switches automatically into the paid period. Current prices: sinfoniaone.at/pricing.

Which ensembles is SinfoniaOne built for?

Mainly wind bands, brass bands, string orchestras and mixed ensembles. The instrument list is maintained per association and is fully extensible.

Score archive

Why doesn't OCR recognise a title or composer?

OCR is optimised for header lines. For unusual layouts you simply set the suggestion manually. Every correction is fed back – recognition gets better for your association over time.

How do I transfer scores between associations?

Via the archive export – export from the source association, import into the target association. On name collision you choose merge or overwrite.

What happens when I delete a score?

Score, sheet music PDFs and recordings land in the trash and can be restored.

Marching book

Why are top and bottom halves swapped on print?

By design. SinfoniaOne splits pieces into two halves: page k shows piece k on top and piece k + N/2 on bottom. Printed duplex, consecutive pieces end up next to each other – the way a classic marching book works. Details: Two-column print layout.

Can I use tablets / digital music stands?

The generated PDFs open in any common tablet app (forScore, ScorePad, …). A dedicated native tablet app is not currently planned.

Billing

Where can I find current prices?

On sinfoniaone.at/pricing. Prices are pulled live from our payment provider.

How do I cancel a module?

Inside the association under Modules or directly in the customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period – the module remains fully usable until then.

Can I revoke a cancellation?

Yes, as long as the period is still running. Reactivate removes the pending cancellation.

Are there partial refunds?

The paid period runs out regularly; by default no partial refund. Exceptions are handled directly on a case-by-case basis.

Technical

Which browsers are supported?

Current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.

Is there a public API?

Not at the moment. For integrations please get in touch directly.
